Présentation

A subtle scent of pine fills this pleasant clay house, a newly built hanok in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, that holds a thousand years of history. It is close to Namsan Samneung, Poseokjeong, and Oreung, all major tourist sites in Gyeongju. Built with care by a carpenter certified in traditional hanok woodworking, no detail has been overlooked. Following traditional construction methods, chopped rice straw was mixed in and walls were finished with clay. During plastering, the clay was mixed with the root of the paper mulberry plant (dakpul), making it very beneficial for those with atopic conditions.
