The story of a woman, 'Goma,' who lingered within the history and legends of Gongju, blossoms anew through contemporary dance and sensuous visual art. The dance creation drama 〈Goma〉 is a tale of a longing heart awaiting a beloved, and of our own story of striving to protect the place we call home. Emotion crafted together with local arts—Gongju Arts Festival This stage has been planned as part of the 'Gongju Arts Festival,' which produces and presents quality works in collaboration with outstanding local artists and arts organizations. Gongju Munye Hall, the cradle of Gongju's culture and arts, joined forces with the representative local dance company 'Choi Seon Dance Company' to render the unique sentiments of our region in the most beautiful language of the stage. [Stage Direction Highlights: A Feast of Sensuous Visual Art] Upon a stage transformed into a pure white canvas, real-time imagery and projection mapping unfold like a painting, delivering a three-dimensional impression that transcends time and space. - The Geumgang River Drawn in Light: Blue and silver lighting is projected onto a minimalist white stage, vividly evoking the river's waves and the moonlight. - The Grand Festival of Ungjin: Dynamic ensemble dance and the sound of drums fill the stage with the resilient vitality of the Ungjin people. - Breathtaking Dramatic Tension: In battle and martial arts scenes, the stage set is utilized in three dimensions to heighten the sense of realism, while contrasts of light and shadow accentuate the delicate emotional lines of the characters. Meeting You in a Strange Wind Ungjin, embracing the waves of the Geumgang River. The strong and beautiful woman 'Goma' and a traveler from afar meet for the first time, as if by fate, like a strange wind. Chapter 2. A Season of Beautiful Love Sharing songs and gestures beneath the moonlight, their hearts gradually draw closer, and their tender feelings soon flow as a deep wave of love. Chapter 3. On the Riverside Where You Departed The traveler sets off on a long journey. Goma waits with a promise held in her heart, but slowly becomes submerged in the waves of the Geumgang amid deep longing. Chapter 4. The Road Back, Traces Left Behind After a long time, the traveler returns to Ungjin to find only Goma's empty place and faint traces, calling out a name he could never reach for a long while by the riverside. Chapter 5. The Waves Call to Each Other Again Longing awakens upon the quiet Geumgang, and at last, two hearts united sink deeply into the waters of Ungjin, becoming waves that never fade away.
