Soseocheon is a stream that originates in Wian-ri, Sandong-myeon, Gurye, famous for its cornus fruits, and flows into the Seomjin River in Gurye-eup. From Gurye-eup, take National Route 19 toward Namwon, turn left at Gwangui Intersection before the Hwaeomsa Tollgate, and immediately after crossing Gwangui Bridge, the Soseocheon Living Environment Forest is on the right. Gurye Flower River is a park created within the Soseocheon Living Environment Forest. In spring, the banks of Soseocheon bloom with pure white cherry blossoms, followed by canola flowers, and in early summer, red poppies paint the entire area in a sea of crimson. In autumn, cosmos flowers bloom, and in winter, a metasequoia path unfolds, perfect for admiring snowy scenery, making it a beautiful spot to enjoy year-round. Crossing the stone bridge over the river from the flower fields, visitors can stroll along a path lined with lush trees, while catching views of Jirisan Mountain behind Soseocheon alongside the flower fields. The Soseocheon bicycle path, where seasonal flower fields can be enjoyed together, connects with the Seomjin River bicycle path, and is a renowned course as a healing road embracing Jirisan Mountain and the Seomjin River.
