The tale
Seondeok became ruler of Silla in 632.
She was the first woman to take the throne in Silla.
Cheomseongdae and Bunhwangsa were built during her reign.
The nine-storey wooden pagoda of Hwangnyongsa was also built in this period.
Cheomseongdae still stands in Gyeongju.
