The tale

Heo Jun was a physician of the Joseon court.

He served in the royal medical office.

He compiled the Dongui Bogam, printed in 1613.

The Dongui Bogam sorts material from many medical books into categories.

It was inscribed on the UNESCO Memory of the World Register in 2009.
