Riding the subway

Lines are told apart by number and color, and you tap your card both in and out.

Single-journey cards come from station machines. They include a small refundable amount, returned at the refund machine of your exit station.
For directions, Naver Map and KakaoMap are the accurate ones. Google Maps does not give driving directions in Korea (public-transit routing works).

Keep it quiet inside — loud conversation and long phone calls read as rude.
Last-train times differ by line — the map apps display them next to each route.
