Power outlets and voltage
Korean electricity is 220V at 60Hz, and outlets take two round pins (types C/F).
- Continental-European plugs fit as they are.
- 110V-only devices break if plugged in without a transformer — first check the device or its adapter for a "100–240V" marking.
- Phone and laptop chargers are mostly 100–240V dual voltage, so only the plug shape needs adapting.
- Plug adapters are sold at convenience stores, household-goods shops, and airports.
