Seogwipo Natural Recreation Forest is a natural recreation forest located on the southwestern side of Hallasan Mountain. It sits at the heart of a scenic tourist course on the eastern side of the road connecting Jeju City and the Jungmun Tourist Complex in Seogwipo City. A forest bathing area has been established within a lush cedar forest where temperate, subtropical, and cold-climate tree species are diversely distributed. This Jeju recreation forest offers distinct seasonal sensations: royal azaleas in spring, cool stream water and woods in summer, beautiful autumn foliage in fall, and snowy landscapes in winter. Facilities include walking trails, the Forest of Encounter, mountain shelters, a play area, camping grounds No. 1 and No. 2, a canyon exploration trail, an observation deck, a grass plaza, an outdoor stage, an outdoor classroom, a children's playground, a foot volleyball court, an exercise equipment area, and a water play area utilizing a valley where water flowing down from Hallasan Mountain collects.
